Swingli Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Swingli respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and how it is protected when you use the Swingli Apple Watch app and companion iPhone app.

2. User Consent

By tapping "Start" or otherwise using Swingli after viewing this notice, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Privacy Policy and the described data handling practices.

3. Data Collection

The following data types may be collected but are not linked to your identity:

Health & Fitness Data

Swingli may access certain health and fitness data from your Apple Watch and the Apple Health app via HealthKit, including:

• Heart rate
• Estimated calories burned
• Workout session information

This health and fitness data is used solely to display and summarize your exercise and tennis session performance within the app. All such health data remains on your device or within Apple's Health app under your control and is not transmitted to Swingli servers or third parties.

Motion Data

Swingli uses motion sensor data from your Apple Watch to detect and categorize tennis swings and performance metrics. This motion data used for basic in-app analytics stays on your device.

If you choose to use the AI Serve Assistant feature, only motion coordinates specifically selected for serve analysis are transmitted securely to OpenAI for processing. No personally identifiable information is included in these transmissions.

Usage Data and Diagnostics

• Usage Data: Product interaction events to improve app functionality.
• Diagnostics: Performance data for app analytics and debugging.

Usage and diagnostic data may be processed using Google Firebase Analytics. This data is anonymous and is not linked to your identity.

4. User Permission for Health Data

Swingli will request your explicit permission before accessing any health or fitness data from Apple's Health app. You can review, manage, or revoke these permissions at any time in your device's Settings.

5. Data Retention

Health, fitness, and motion data accessed by or generated within the app are retained on your device for as long as you keep the app and choose not to delete your activity history.

Your data rights: Swingli does not maintain user accounts and does not store identifiable personal data on its own backend servers. Most health, fitness, and motion data remains on your device. Because we do not maintain centralized user profiles, there is limited personal information for us to access or delete. You may delete all locally stored app data by removing the app from your device, which permanently removes your activity history and preferences. You may also contact us at hello@racketlab.io to request information about any data processed by our service providers.

6. Third-Party Services (AI Serve Coach)

The AI Serve Coach feature uses OpenAI's API to analyze your serve technique. When you use this feature:

• Your swing motion coordinates are sent to OpenAI for processing.
• OpenAI may use API data to train or improve their models.
• OpenAI may retain API data for up to 30 days for abuse and misuse monitoring, after which it is deleted (unless retained longer for training purposes).
• No personally identifiable information is transmitted -- only anonymous motion data.
• Data sent for AI-based serve analysis is not used to identify individual users.

7. International Data Transfers

Swingli uses service providers including Google Firebase and OpenAI to process usage, diagnostic, and motion data. These service providers may be located outside your country, including in the United States. By using Swingli, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer and processing of your data outside your country of residence to the extent described in this Privacy Policy.
