Swingli Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Swingli respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and how it is protected when you use the Swingli Apple Watch app and companion iPhone app.

2. Data Collection

The following data types may be collected but are not linked to your identity:

Usage Data: Product interaction events to improve app functionality.
Diagnostics: Performance data for app analytics and debugging.
Health & Fitness: Includes health data such as workout sessions and fitness metrics captured via Apple Watch and HealthKit.
Motion Data: Swing motion coordinates captured during serve analysis when using the AI Serve Coach feature.

3. Purpose of Data Collection

Health & Fitness: Used for app functionality, such as detecting tennis swings, counting strokes, and summarizing workouts.
Usage Data, Diagnostics: Used for analytics and performance improvements.
Motion Data: Used by the AI Serve Assistant to analyze your serve technique and provide personalized feedback and suggestions.

4. Data Handling

Most data collected remains on your device or within Apple frameworks. However, when you use the AI Serve Assistant feature, your swing motion coordinates are transmitted to OpenAI's API for analysis. This data is not stored by Swingli.

5. Third-Party Services (AI Serve Coach)

The AI Serve Coach feature uses OpenAI's API to analyze your serve technique. When you use this feature:

Your swing motion coordinates are sent to OpenAI for processing.
OpenAI may use API data to train or improve their models.
OpenAI may retain API data for up to 30 days for abuse and misuse monitoring, after which it is deleted (unless retained longer for training purposes).
No personally identifiable information is transmitted—only anonymous motion data.
